เราเดินทางจาก Queesnstwon ไปพักที่ Te Anau 2 คืน เพื่อเดินทางไป Milford Sound
Queenstown - Te Anau (185 กม./3 ชม.)
Te Anau - Milford Sound (121 กม./2.20 ชม.)
Milford Sound - Ta Anau (121 กม./2.20 ชม.)
Te Anau (stay 2 nights)

เสร็จจาการนั่งเรือ Shortover Jet แล้ว เราก็ขับ รถขึ้นเขาไปเล็กน้อยที่ Coronet Peak เป็นที่สำหรับนักเล่น Ski แต่ปรากฎว่ายังไม่มี snow อากาศตอนนี้เป็นฤดูใบไม้ร่วง ทุกอย่างปิดทำการ เราก็เลยได้แต่ยืนดูวิวเมืองที่อยู่ข้างล่าง แล้วก็ขับรถลงมา ประมาณบ่าย 3 โมง รถ มาแวะกินข้าวมื้อบ่ายๆ ที่ Arrow Town เมืองนี้ก็เป็นเมืองเล็กอีกเช่นกัน เมืองน่ารัก เงียบๆ อาคารบ้านเรือนก็ชั้นเดียว ไม่มีตึกสูงๆ เสร็จจากการเดินเล่นในเมืองเล็กที่นี่แล้วก็ เริ่มเดินทางต่อไปยังที่หมายคือเมือง Te Anau ต่อไป ต้องใช้เวลาขับรถประมาณ 3 ชม

Arrowtown, Otago

Arrowtown is an historic gold-mining town in Otago, South Island, New Zealand.  It's a beautiful town, filled with rich heritage and is an excellent spot to visit or stay anytime of the year.  Arrowtown is 20 minutes from Queenstown

Lake Hayes

 Lake Hayes, is small lake in Central Otago.  It is located close to the towns of Arrowtown and Queenstown.

เช้าวันนี้เราออกเดินทางจาก ที่พัก Garden Park Motel ใน Te Anau ไป Milford Sound เรายังไม่ check out เพราะจะต้องกลับมานอนที่นี่อีกคืนนี้ เป็นคืนที่ 2


The Eglinton Valley

 The Eglinton Valley is a 30 minute drive north of Te Anau on the South Island of New Zealand that we'll pass on the way to Milford Sound. This valley is well known for 'The Avenue of the Disappearing Mountain' and its wonderful views.

Mirror Lake

*แวะ Mirror Lake ซึ่งอยู่ใกล้ๆ กับถนนใหญ่ไม่ต้องเดินเข้าไปลึกมากนัก

Monkey Creek and Homer Tunnel

  Monkey Creek, on the road to Milford. The Homer Tunnel links Milford Sound to Te Anau by going through the Main Divide at the Homer Saddle, opened in 1954.  The tunnel is straight, and was originally single-lane and gravel-surfaced.

จอดรถแวะดูกลุ่มหมอกกำลังไหลอยู่ระหว่างหุบเขา อากาศเย็นเจี๊ยบ

* เมื่อเดินทางต่อ ต้องผ่าน Homer Tunnel ด้วย ฝนกำลังตกปลอยๆ เลยไม่ได้แวะลงไปถ่ายรูปไม่ได้ เนื่องจากอุโมงค์นี้เดินรถทางเดียว จึงต้องรอสัญญาณไฟเขียวก่อน จึงขับเข้าผ่านอุโมงค์ได้ ระยะทางก็ไม่ยาวมากประมาณสักเกือบ 1 กม. เท่านั้น

The Chasm

 The Chasm in the Darran Mountains is found in Fiordland National Park along the Milford Road in Fiordland on the South Island of New Zealand. It has been described as an almost magical place due to the power of the water.

*แวะ The Chasm เป็นทางเดินท่ามกลาง ต้นไม้ใหญ่หนาทึบ และชื้นตลอดปี มีน้ำตกเล็กๆ และมีหินผิวเกลึ้ยงสีดำในลำธารน้ำ พบนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติที่นี่หลายคน รวมทั้งกลุ่มคนไทยด้วย

ก้อนหินตามลำธารน้ำที่ The Chasm จะเป็นสีดำ
