* ไม่อยากเชื่อเลยว่าวันนี้เป็นวันที่ 8 ของการเดินทางแล้ว เรากำลังจะเดินทางกลับไปยังฝั่งตะวันออกของ NZ อีกครั้ง จุดหมายคือ Dunedin วันนี้เราจะใช้ระยะเวลาเดินทางประมาณ 5 ชม. กว่า เริ่มออกเดินทางประมาณ 9 โมง เติมน้ำมัน $ 38.34

แผนที่เมือง Dunedin และทางไป Otago Pennisula ขับรถไปกลับก็ใช้เวลาประมาณ 3 ชมกว่าไกลพอสมควรทีเดียว สงสารคนขับเหมือนกัน เพราะมาถึงก็ยังไม่ได้พักต้องขับรถต่อเลย เพราะต้องแข่งกับเวลาซึ่งเราไม่อยากขับรถอยู่บนเขาขณะที่พระอาทิตย์ตกดิน แล้ว เนื่องจากพระอาทิตย์ยังไม่ตกดิน เราก็มีเวลาขับรถไปเที่ยวต่อที่ Lanarch Castle ซึ่ง เป็นปราสาทโบราณอยู่ที่ Otago Penninsula เราต้องขับรถขึ้นไปบนเขาสูง เราเสียค่าผ่านประตูเข้าเขตปราสาทคนละ NZ$ 5 เพื่อเดินเล่นชมสวนและบริเวณรอบๆ ด้านนอกได้ แต่ถ้าจะชมข้างในปราสาทต้องเสียค่าเข้าชม อีก NZ$ 18 แต่เรามีเวลาไม่มากเพราะตัวปราสาทก็ใกล้จะปิดแล้ว ที่ Larnach Castle นี้มี Hotel เปิดให้บริการด้วย ชื่อว่า Larnach Castle Hotel Dunedin ค่าที่พักก็แพงหน่อยเริ่มประมาณ 7,000 บาทขึ้นไป ตั้งอยู่ที่ Camp Road, Otago Peninsula, Po Box 1350 Dunedin, New Zealand เราขอไปพักในเมืองดีกว่า เพราะตอนกลางคืนคงนอนไม่หลับแน่ๆ

Larnach Castle is an imposing mansion on the ride of the Otago Penisula within the limits of the city of Dunedin, New Zealand, close to the small settlement of Pukeniki.  It is one of a few houses of this scale in New Zealand.  The house and its grounds are regularly open to the public.

The Larnach Castle gardens are one of only five gardens nationwide to have been given the rating of "garden of international significance" by the New Zealand Gardens Trust. They were the first gardens in the South Island to be given this award; the only other garden in the South Island with this ranking is also in Dunedin - Dunedin Botanic Gardens.

 จากปราสาท Larnach Castle เราก็ขับรถต่อไปยัง Royal Albatross Centre ตั้งอยู่บนเทือกเขาเดียวกันแต่อยู่ที่ปลายสุดของ Otago Penninsula เพื่อดูนก Albatross ทีมีปีกยาวประมาณ 5 ฟุต และแข็งแรงมาก ธาจับภาพมาได้ 3 ตัวกำลังบินอยู่บนท้องฟ้า อากาศหนาวเย็นและมีลมแรง

 The Royal Albatross Colony at Taiaroa Head, on the tip of the Otago Peninsula, New Zealand, is the only mainland breeding colony for any albatross species found in the southern hemisphere.
  Taiaroa Head, unique in the world for the variety and richness of the bird and marine life found here. Blue Penguins, Fur Seals, Sea Lions, and the rare Stewart Island Shag are amongst the amazing array of other birdlife found here
 

The Octagon is an eight sided plaza bisected by the city's main street, which is called George Street to the northeast and Princes Street to the southwest. These form the axis of Dunedin's central business district.

* เสร็จเรื่องเที่ยวของวันนี้ ก็ไป Dinner ที่ร้าน Japanese ทุกคนอิ่มอร่อย โดยเฉพาะชัยได้กิน Fried Spicy Sea food with mixed vegetable ถูกปากถูกใจกันเสียจริงๆ จ่ายไปอีก $ 61 แล้วก็ไปซื้อของที่ Super Store สำหรับเป็นอาหารเช้าพรุ่งนี้ $ 12.85 ร้านขายของปิดหมดแล้ว เลยเดินเล่น shopping ไม่ได้
